The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 under Verizon network would soon receive an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, although the exact date for rollout is still unknown. The carrier already provided and posted in its website all necessary information on how to update Galaxy Tab 7.7 to ICS.

When it rolled out ICS update for Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 almost a couple of weeks ago, it also posted the details in its site a few days before the actual rollout and such pattern has been going on for years.
